Jincy began her nursing career in 2008 and completed a Master’s degree in Advanced Medical and Surgical Nursing in 2012. Over the years, she has gained extensive experience across intensive care units, emergency care, and medical and surgical wards.
Since 2019, she has been working in advanced practice as a Clinical Nurse Specialist at Eastern Health Melbourne, with a focus on Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Upper GI, and Colorectal care.
Her passion for advancing healthcare led her to join the research team at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in 2021, where she coordinated clinical trials in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) until 2025. She has also been a strong advocate for the Crohn’s Colitis Care software, an innovative clinical management tool.
In December 2024, she completed a Master of Nurse Practitioner program and is currently expanding her procedural skills in endoscopy, performing both Upper GI scopes and colonoscopies as a trainee at Caboolture Hospital.
She also contributes to the education of future Nurse Practitioners as an Adjunct Associate Lecturer at the University of Queensland.
As an endorsed Nurse Practitioner, she is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care and advancing clinical practice in gastroenterology.
Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, and values socialising with family and friends.
