Breast Cancer Awareness Month — Together, We Illuminate Hope
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month in Australia — a special time to unite in raising visibility, support, and understanding around a disease that touches so many lives.
At Elysian Women’s Health, we believe awareness is a catalyst: it fosters conversation, connects communities, and strengthens the path toward better outcomes.
There are many meaningful ways you can contribute to Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
1. Learn about breast cancer
Many organisations such as Breast Cancer Trials, have resources you can access for free online.
2. Share information
No matter what your gender is, it always helps to share information about breast health with the women in your life that you care about.
3. Support a local fundraising event
Research to see what local community events are being held in your area. Otherwise, you could also choose to donate directly to a reputable Breast Cancer Foundation such as The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) or Breast Cancer Network Australia.
4. Engage in conversation
Talking about this disease with friends, family, or colleagues helps normalise discussions and break down fear or stigma.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month is more than pink ribbons, it is about igniting informed conversations, expanding reach, and strengthening support across communities.
At Elysian Women’s Health, we stand with everyone touched by breast cancer, and this October, we encourage you to learn, share, support, and engage.
